Barrie Reid is currently a full-time faculty member in the International Business diploma program at NSCC Truro Campus. Barrie has over twenty-seven years senior industry experience in sales, marketing and general management. The focus of his work has been in the service, packaged consumer goods, giftware and beverage industries.
Barrie has worked in multi-national companies and small entrepreneurial businesses. He possesses extensive national and international experience involving sales, product management, business development, marketing implementation, logistics, exporting and licensing of products.
Barrie's credentials include the C.S.P. sales certification and the Certified International Trade Professional designation (CITP).
Another path - FITT´s Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process, which provides credit for previous work experience and/or education.
