Eric Rochette - CTO of GoSecure
Eric Rochette brings over 15 years of experience in information security and currently serves as Chief Technology Officer for the company. Over the last few years he has led the company’s professional services, which includes offerings in advisory, pentesting and operational services. With a background in information security risk assessments, cybersecurity assessment and security architecture, his strong experience in service delivery has allowed him to help structure, organize and improve the organization’s offerings and ensure the delivery of high-value services. In addition, he has served as a security advisor to numerous boards in need of strategic guidance in cybersecurity.
Prior to leading professional services at GoSecure, Eric built and led the company’s Advisory team where he managed the delivery of a variety of assessments, audits and security architecture design projects. He started his career as a security analyst having performed a multitude of security solution implementations for private and public sector organizations.
Eric holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Montreal’s Polytechnique University.
Jonathan Prall - Security Consulting Consultant at Accenture
Jonathan (Jonny) has worked in cyber security consulting for over 5 years at Accenture. Currently, Jonny is working as a penetration tester for a variety of client sectors, including mobile carriers, power companies, retailers, transportation agencies, and more. These activities include a mixture of web application, mobile application, wireless, and infrastructure penetration testing. Jonny has also tested Large Language Models (LLMs), where he has engineered prompts to demonstrate potential harm areas, fraud opportunities, and other abuse of client chatbots.
Before penetration testing, Jonny worked in security operations for a single client. This involved incident and phishing response, firewall changes, URL filtering management, key vault requests, and more. Jonny holds a Bachelor of Computer Science, with a specialization in Communications Technologies and Cyber Security, from Dalhousie University.
Rohid Sharma - Senior Account Executive at Cyberclan
Rohid is the Senior Account Executive at CyberClan, focusing on Partner Relations, Incident Response, Managed Security and Risk Management Services all across Canada. Obtaining a double major in science with distinction from Saint Mary's University, Rohid is adept in advisory services and security consulting, specializing in the Canadian market. Based in Nova Scotia, Rohid leads the expansion of CyberClan and its partners across Canada. Rohid also sits on The Nova Scotia Community College IT Advisory Board and is a Connector in the Halifax Partnership Connector Program.
Michael Hebert - Founder of Turtle Island Technology Solutions
Michael, founder of Turtle Island Technology Solutions Inc., has over 24 years of IT experience in both technical and leadership roles with global and national system integrators. Known for delivering innovative, cybersecurity-focused solutions, he is a proud Cree Nation member, deeply connected to his culture and community.
When asked, Michael will happily share his global network to foster collaboration in the industry. His mission, and that of Turtle Island Technology Solutions is to increase Indigenous representation in technology. Turtle Island Technology Solutions is based in the Millbrook First Nation, a Mi’kmaq community, and Michael resides in Halifax.
Moussa Noun - Senior Director, Data Protection at RBC
Moussa Noun, with CISSP, CASP+, and CEH certifications, specializes in cybersecurity, focusing on Generative AI and AI Safety. His career includes pivotal roles at Bell, IBM, and TELUS, culminating in his current position as Senior Director of Data Protection at the Royal Bank of Canada. Moussa's expertise extends to ethical hacking, automation, and understanding the human elements of cybersecurity, complemented by a keen interest in biohacking. This blend of technical acumen and insight into human factors makes him a distinguished professional in the field.
