Cybersecurity leaders need more than technical expertise: they need the ability to communicate risk, influence decision-makers, and build security strategies that support organizational goals. Over 8 weeks, this advanced course prepares experienced cybersecurity and IT professionals to bridge the gap between technical operations and executive leadership.
Participants will gain hands-on experience applying leading governance and maturity frameworks, including NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, and CMMI, while developing practical skills in cybersecurity governance, enterprise risk management, strategic planning, budgeting, and executive communication. Throughout the course, learners will build a comprehensive organizational cybersecurity roadmap, culminating in an executive-ready presentation based on a real or simulated business environment.
Designed for busy professionals, the course blends weekly live instruction with flexible, self-paced learning, making it easy to balance career development alongside full-time work. Participants will also have access to optional networking opportunities, expert panels, and career development sessions as part of the broader LevelSec program.
